We are a group of food-loving friends courageously fighting the age-old question, "What's for dinner?"
By spending a few hours each month planning, prepping, cooking, making a large mess, and then cleaning it up, we can provide healthy, budget-friendly meals for our families. Plus, it doubles as a very excellent 'Girls' Night Out.' Yes, that may mean the kids spend the entire night watching movies with dad. Yes, that may mean the spouse spends a Saturday night alone. Yes, that may mean we start a small stove top fire, or possibly ruin a roux. Yes, that may mean we come home late, reeking of onion and garlic, but it is worth it. Looking into our stocked freezers, knowing exactly what is there, how much it cost, and how long it needs to bake---that, my friends, is joy. Like, "You-Can't-Touch-This," confidence while you're dancing like MC Hammer. It is that good.
No only our our tummies and checkbooks happy, but our families are too! Freezer cooking gives us extra time to be better wives, mommies, friends, daughters, sisters, neighbors. Ultimately, it gives us time to be better women.
The Freezer Cooking Club has completely blessed our lives! Hopefully, it can bless yours too.
